Don’t hesitate to book this spot - it’s walkable to all that downtown Camden has to offer and is so well appointed. I took advantage of the treadmill in the gym - it got the job done - and enjoyed prepping a few light meals in the kitchen. I’ll be back next time I’m in the area!

The Airbnb is exactly how it looks . Close to everything . Acadia was 1 hours and 30 mins away . Food close by . Airbnb itself is safe location , quite , and parking was easy and safe as well. Would stay for sure again

What a great place! Lovely, clean and comfortable. Easy walk to everything in Camden. I love how they creatively give you a “kitchen”, without an actual kitchen: air fryer, microwave, toaster, electric skillet and more! We will definitely stay here again. We also love that it is dog friendly!

We bookended our trip to Maine at The Optimist. We are glad we did. Camden, ME is a great stop with good food, scenery, and pleasant locals. The Optimist is located in a great spot with convenient parking. My wife and walked almost everywhere and thoroughly enjoyed the park that overlooks the bay. Camden offers a variety pack of fun options and The Optimist is a great spot to relax. The bed was comfortable. The amenities are new. Hopefully we can come to Maine again and if so we’d love to stay at The Optimist.

Clean, comfortable, and perfect location for driving and walking access to local spots. Took advantage of the outfitted kitchen and side deck--a real bonus. Smart to have the noise machine although the steady rush of the water outside serves same purpose. Took advantage of the discount at the restaurant next door! Thanks for a lovely stay.

Our stat was amazing, everything was clean upon arrival and they were very clear with instructions and made sure to check in on us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. They were even kind enough to send us some restaurant recommendations when we asked. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone!

Walkable, loved the ambient sound of the creek behind, the decor was cozy and beautiful, and everything was spotless. We had such a comfortable stay with our pup and had everything we needed. The restaurant next door was great, too! It’s the perfect option for a couple (and a dog)!

Really enjoyed the place! Fantastic location. Walkable to everything. Convenient access to the waterfront and all the restaurants in town. Easy to park and have access to your car to drive around the rest of the coastline. Would definitely stay again!

This is a great little spot in Camden. You can walk to anything you would need in town. The place is modern and chic. Loved the river going through the back patio. Very cool place.
